That’s because brides absolutely LOVE showing off their wedding day photos to their friends, family, and casual acquaintances who stalk their newsfeed.

If you are a bride thinking about your own wedding photography I want you to know I believe you deserve the best pictures to share. However, I don't believe that you should have to overpay to do so. That's why I recommend choosing a basic photography package that includes only the necessities.

Prime Time Hours
Basic wedding photography packages will often have a time limit on them. Two hours of affordable wedding photography is too short to capture all of the special moments and people that are a part of your wedding. However, 4-6 hours of wedding photography is just right. This amount of time allows the photographer to capture pre-wedding photos, ceremony photos, bridal party photos, and even pictures of the reception-everything you want to remember.

Editing
Editing wedding photos can be very time-consuming for photographers. And, some of the most basic packages leave editing out of the equation. However, if you want to ensure you are going to receive the best quality photos be sure to clarify your photographer is going to go through and edit them.

Prints or Rights
After your wedding, you are going to want to share pictures on social media and print out your favorites to frame at home. So, before you commit to a basic photography package make sure it includes the rights to post pictures online, a release to print your own images or some type of print package.
