Weathering The Storm - Sarah & Dominic Engagement

Sarah and her Husband Dominic came to me wanting photos of them saying yes to each other- again! They explained how they stuck together through good times and bad, they weathered the storm and wanted to celebrate. Their first proposal was at the Lighthouse at Lake Hefner in North Oklahoma City. They wanted their new engagement photos to be in the same nostalgic location.

When we arrived at the location the sky had been stormy on and off all day and they seemed completely unbothered by the chance of rain and storms stating “we’ve weathered the storms of our marriage, a little rain wont hurt!” Plus the simple symbolism the storm clouds added to the portraits really added beautiful depth.

I am honored to have been part of such a special time for these two and wish them strong sails and calm seas ahead!
