When you hear the word "cheap", what comes to mind? If you're like most people words like "low quality", "broken", or "bad" will immediately pop into your head. And, if you hear "cheap wedding photography" you might not even think, you might just run for the hills! But, I'm here to offer you a fair warning to think twice before you run because hiring a cheap wedding photographer doesn't always mean hiring a bad wedding photographer. Here’s why. Cheap wedding photography equals quality wedding photography without the frills. When looking at wedding photography packages you might notice most of them include a lot of frills that aren't exactly necessary. I'm talking leather bound albums, mimosas on the morning of your wedding, or an on-the-side boudoir shoot to gift to your hubby on the big day. These additions, although nice, do not mean your actual wedding photos will be of better quality; they just mean your package includes more stuff.
Cheap can simply be another word for affordable.Believe it or not, there are photographers out there who care about helping their brides stay on budget; and I am one of them. Photographers like me realize although photos are important, there is more that goes into a wedding day and they want their brides to be able to spend what they are able and still get what they deserve. So, if you are a DIY bride looking for an answer to all your wedding photography woes, don't give up! There are "cheap" photographers determined to give you quality wedding photos you will cherish forever. Heres a behind the scenes peek at what I like to listen to when I’m editing wedding photos! I do all the editing myself- no outsourcing. It keeps my prices low and I genuinely love photo editing!
Some of these songs are also highly underused at weddings and would be great for a unique reception playlist! This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Gaillardia Country Club and I had a great time. Blanca and Moses were surrounded by family and friends as they exchanged vows in a traditional Hispanic ceremony, I have decided the lasso is one of my favorite parts. The gorgeous navy, blush and rose gold colors came together beautifully in all the decorations! What I really enjoyed about this ceremony is that even though they were very serious about the vows they were making the entrance of the wedding party and groom were fun and light hearted. They were treating it like a celebration and you could feel the excitement! The ceremony was conducted in Spanish (which I also really enjoyed even though I know hardly and Spanish at all) but they included a translator for those of us who were not bilingual. The ceremony in another language reminded me that love crosses so many barriers, I didn’t know exactly what was going on but I could still sense the love between the bride and groom.
These two met because of their love of weight training and excrcise and they celebrated their love and commitment at the gorgeous Blueberry Hill Events venue infront of their vintage stone barn! From their first look to dancing the night away on the outdoor dance floor, Maddie and Cole were surrounded by loving friends and family! Their first look was in the middle of a bamboo forest and the ceremony was held infront of the vintage barn doors, all on the blueberry hill events property! Huge congrats to these two on a beautiful wedding day and on their marriage, I’m wishing you many happy years to come!
This couple chose my Silver Package for their wedding photography. Courtney and Jay were celebrating their love and all things southern on their wedding day, and I enjoyed photographing it all! This outdoor ceremony felt like a true Oklahoma summer wedding with baby’s breath flowers and boots on every foot! This country-glam, rustic chic wedding was held at The Depot train station in Norman, OK. Blue jeans, boots and cowboy hats were the norm at their beautiful outdoor ceremony. The reception was held inside the vintage train station and we even had a few trains pass during the day! Luckily Norman has a no horn policy so the trains didn’t disturb a moment of the celebration! I had a great time photographing this wedding! These two were easy going and laid back and looking for an affordable photographer. They had a beautiful ceremony at their church in Moore, with vibrant pinks and deep blues as their theme! Jessica and Jared planned a beautiful ceremony and reception for their family and friends to attend and watch them exchange vows and start their life as Mr. and Mrs. including a hilarious wedding party! Many couples choose to get married or elope at the Oklahoma City courthouse but that doesn’t mean they don’t want amazing wedding photos! I was contacted by this couple after the found me on the Courthouse Chapel website! We arranged to meet in the Myriad Gardens for Bride and Groom photos as well as family portraits. We had a great time exploring the gardens and finding beautiful romantic spots that would be the perfect backdrop for their yellow and blue color scheme 💛💙 my elopement sessions start at $200 and since every wedding and elopement is as unique as this one, I work to tailor the price and experience to each couple! I had a great time working with Kaitlyn and Chase on their wedding day. They both had such a relaxed vibe and were excited about wedding photography. Booking an affordable wedding photographer doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice quality. Check out these beautiful images from their ceremony and reception at the Barn at the Woods, in north OKC/Edmond, OK! I love the mix of black tie with vibrant pops of color from the floral arrangements. Congrats to these two on a gorgeous wedding day (even through all the wind, rain and flash flooding just hours before) and here’s to many happy years ahead!
I had a great time photographing and exploring the cowboy hall of fame in okc with this amazing couple! The museum had beautiful gardens and statues that made it an amazing spot for wedding photos! As beautiful as the gardens were the architecture and historical art inside the museum also made a beautiful backdrop for these two western love birds. They decided to elope and have a big reception for friends and family to come and celebrate! The whole event was fun from start to finish and I’m so glad I got to photograph it! Cheers to Kayla and Chase! I enjoyed this horse themed engagement session so much! Not only was the couple amazing to photograph, but the bride to be loved horses and wanted them in her engagement photos. And I have a very strong ALL animals included policy! 😉 We had a great time exploring the property the horses lived on which also included 4 dogs, 2 cats and wait for it...... 2 donkies!!! We were surrounded by the sweetest animals and that translated into the photos. I had a blast working with Danielle and Zach and I can’t wait for their wedding later this year! |
