Danielle and Zack planned a classy and beautiful ceremony at the Gaillardia clubhouse in north Oklahoma City. Although the couple had to move the ceremony indoors (thanks Oklahoma for sending that cold front and 30 mph winds in) it was so beautiful and cozy!

Alex and Blane planned a beautiful elopement in Eureka Springs! Although they were from Oklahoma City they wanted to do something unique for their elopement and planned a small ceremony at a victorian B&B tucked away in the mountains of Eureka Springs.   OOOOOOOOOOOOklahoma (I couldn’t resist...and sorry for getting that song stuck in your head for the next ten days)… You guys, Oklahoma is the BEST. I was born and raised here, but I’ve been around the country and even the world and I will boldly protest that out of everywhere Oklahoma has my heart. It’s a land of sweet grasses, rolling hills, rocky mountainscapes, crisp air, and some of the craziest weather I have ever seen. And, as a photographer, I can confidently say that Oklahoma, and specifically Oklahoma City, is one of the BEST location choices for your engagement photos.
If you’re sporting some shiny new bling and thinking about affordable engagement photos, I want to share with you the best engagement photo locations in Oklahoma City so you can have the pictures of your dreams. Here we go! Ask almost any bride to write down her top 10 priorities when planning her wedding and I can almost guarantee that somewhere among the first three you will find the word “photographer” (probably right under booze and making sure grandma gets home okay if we’re being completely honest). Wedding photos are important. They capture every detail of your big day from your beautiful dress, to the toothless grin of your 6-year-old flower girl. Pictures guarantee that your wedding day will not just be another date lost in time.  Privileged to work for this couple twice, the first time for engagement photos and then again last week for their wedding day! Taylor and Blake planned a beautiful wedding at the Redlands Darlington Chapel in El Reno which is just a quick drive from Oklahoma City!   When you’re planning a wedding, it’s easy to feel like you’re handing over your wallet and your left arm to everyone and their brother. Some of the costs are easy to plan for. You know you will need to pay for your dress, food, drinks, and quality wedding photography. However, it’s the unexpected costs that really get you down. Costs like the fee for hemming your dress because it was made too long or the additional charge for the special color of Gerber Daisies you requested from the florist.

Coral and Caleb met in high school and officially became “C squared” on September 15 this year! That's why I recommend choosing a basic photography package that includes only the necessities.  When you hear the word "cheap", what comes to mind? If you're like most people words like "low quality", "broken", or "bad" will immediately pop into your head. And, if you hear "cheap wedding photography" you might not even think, you might just run for the hills! But, I'm here to offer you a fair warning to think twice before you run because hiring a cheap wedding photographer doesn't always mean hiring a bad wedding photographer. Here’s why.  Cheap wedding photography equals quality wedding photography without the frills.When looking at wedding photography packages you might notice most of them include a lot of frills that aren't exactly necessary. I'm talking leather bound albums, mimosas on the morning of your wedding, or an on-the-side boudoir shoot to gift to your hubby on the big day. These additions, although nice, do not mean your actual wedding photos will be of better quality; they just mean your package includes more stuff. Cheap can simply be another word for affordable.Believe it or not, there are photographers out there who care about helping their brides stay on budget; and I am one of them. Photographers like me realize although photos are important, there is more that goes into a wedding day and they want their brides to be able to spend what they are able and still get what they deserve. So, if you are a DIY bride looking for an answer to all your wedding photography woes, don't give up! There are "cheap" photographers determined to give you quality wedding photos you will cherish forever.
